Home Minister Shah said that he did not heed these rumors, but thought that it is important to clarify today as many BJP workers were concerned about his health.
The Home Minister took a dig at those spreading the rumor. “I request people to stop these kinds of conversations and let me do my work, they should also tell about their business,” he said.
Amit Shah thanked the well-wishers for inquiring about his health. The home minister signed it saying that he had no hatred for spreading rumors.
This comes after 4 people were detained in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in which a fake tweet was aired in Shah’s name.
BJP national president JP Nadda said the “inhumane” remarks about Home Minister Amit Shah’s health were “highly condemnable”.
Nadda said, “It is highly condemnable to make inhuman remarks about the health of Home Minister Amit Shah. Spreading such misleading remarks about one’s health reflects people’s mindset. I strongly condemn this and pray to God.” I strongly condemn it and pray to God to grant them good sense. ” A tweet stated.
— Jagat Prakash Nadda (@JPNadda) May 9, 2020
